Working Hard

Busy day today, what with attempting to establish a routine with my new job now added to the mix.  I think I’m getting there, but I’ll know if it’s truly solid after a few days or so.

Even with my new job, I’m relieved to see I’m sticking to my Frugal guns (so far).  Early this morning I popped a whole chicken into the solar cooker.  I didn’t have to worry about getting dinner together later in the day, when I’m most tired.  I think I’m going to try to get dinner taken care of in the morning when I have the most energy. Otherwise I’ll probably be overcome by the convenient, delicious, and expensive temptations of take-out and home delivery.  Not to mention that won’t do my Wedding Diet any good.

Speaking of weddings, I just saw a bit of one of those reality shows concerning an engaged couple preparing for their wedding.  It seems they are experiencing a lot of stress because they are on a really tight budget - they only have $33,000 to spend.   I don’t know, that seems like a lot of money to me.  I’d rather have a brand new Camaro myself.
