Taco Debacle - The Final Chapter
June 28th, 2008 by TessieIn response to my concerns about Tacoless’ unfortunate experience at the Grapevine Mills Jack In the Box on 2freetacosday Thursday, Lorren from their customer service department sent this e-mail:
Dear Frugal Freedom Fighter,
Thank you for your e-mail regarding your recent visit to Jack in the
Box. I apologize for the problems you experienced. Jack in the Box has very
high standards for our employees and our restaurants and it is important
for us to hear from our guests when these standards are not being met. We
would like to follow up with the restaurant manager to assure your concerns
are addressed, but will need to know the date and time of your visit and
the location of the restaurant you visited. We would also like to send you
a complimentary certificate good at any of our participating locations.
I guess Lorren didn’t read my e-mail very closely (it wasn’t my visit, but it’s probably just a canned reply). Tacoless provided the date, time, and address of the store he visited, and I sent that information to Lorren. So, looks like a happy ending for Tacoless. As soon as I receive that certificate, I will send it off to him. Looks like you’ll be getting your free tacos, after all, Tacoless! Hooray!
If you had a similar experience, be sure to go to the Jack in the Box website and send them an email.
