Frugal Hookers?

Just about every day I get an email saying “So-and-so is now following you on Twitter.”  That’s nice.  It’s so friendly.

More and more I’ve been noticing that some of these new followers are very often, ahem, hookers.  I’m sorry if that’s not politically correct, but I don’t really know if there is a pc term.  Ladies of the Evening?  Working Girls?  Well, it’s a little out of my milieu, you see.

At first I was aghast at this development.  I sure don’t want any hookers following me, no sirree!

But then I realized I was being unfair.  In this dreadful economy, everybody is looking for a way to make their funds go farther.  Apparently even hookers.

So I decided, heck, if somebody feels like their getting something worthwhile out of this blog, who am I to judge?  Maybe if they’re  frugal enough, they can eventually save enough money to do something else with their lives, like open a knitting shop.

The frugal lifestyle is so interesting.  You just never know who you’ll meet next.
