Froogally Doogaly

Still here being frugal and plugging away at my new job.  Seems to be going well.

My husband took me to see the new Harry Potter movie last night.  The movie was great, and the audience was interesting too.  The portly fellow next to me smelled strongly of marijuana.  I feel especially muzzy-headed this morning.  So I have to ask myself two questions: did I get an unintentional contact-high?  And is Harry Potter the new Pink Floyd?

Someone else in the row behind me was snoring like a bandsaw.  This was the 9:30 show and we didn’t get out until almost 12:30, so I can be sympathetic to that.  I myself regularly enjoy being in bed by 9 pm.

So you may have already picked up on the unspoken, non-Frugal, subtext of this post, which is the fact that I paid full-price for the tickets to see Harry Potter.  But it was worth it.  Also, I felt sassy and crazy, going to see a movie at 9:30 at night.  I am a wild woman.
